For a brief moment i actually thought that this was a topic announcing the next chapter in the System Shock series, or a TC of the original SS. Oh well, maybe Spector and his crew will consider doing something with the series after Thief 3.

I downloaded it. I had to reinstall SS2 on my system, but fortunatly I had zipped up my save games and was able to check out several areas. The patch went in very easily, just adding the directory. I also could easily move the directory elsewhere and revisit the old meshes. What a difference. I may very well have to play through this old classic again.

One nit, that I'm not sure anything can be done about. I tried to install a "no-cd" patch so that I could leave out the CD-ROM. When I did, the Wrench would not display. I could tell it was equipped, I could hear it swoosh when I swung it, or even the clang or thud when it hit something. The few guns that I tried did work fine, only the Wrench seemed to have a problem. If I started a NoCD game without your meshes it worked fine. It is strictly some odd incompatablity between your meshes, and the NoCD patches (I tried a couple). As I said, its a nit, I have the CD.
