Postal 2 Gets a Perfect Score

Just got this funny mail from Vince Desi, so I thought i would share it with u


"Only because I'm being swamped with emails telling me about some a-hole journalist imposters at Computer Gaming World and GMR magazines do I feel compelled to write to you, the GREATEST FANS in the world. It is YOU and ONLY YOU who we care about.

I've just returned from a rare vacation, and have learned of the Perfect Score, 0, we received by some thesaurus smoking rapeclown writer at CGW and an identical twin-turd at GMR, now 2 Zeros plus 2 A-holes equals PURE CRAP, these guys have their tongues firmly implanted in the anuses of their sterile parent game publisher Ziff Davis.

Now I don't mind that they use RWS or POSTAL to grab attention to their failing tampon of a rag magazine, but its a real diservice to mislead their subscribers, gamers and everyone in the gaming community. People pay hard earned money for their "magazines" and they look for accurate information and reviews about games, not political expressions by closet case pseudo jouranlists. My apologies to all who have paid for these moralistic manifestos, one can only suspect they're on the payroll of the Leiberman For President campaign, so much for independece and originality. GOD BLESS AMERICA, we sure can use it.

So I say to you, to hell with them, lets not waste our valuable time stretching these a-holes, lets move on and have fun, play POSTAL, destroy, kill and enjoy life."

Must agree with Vince here... I never heard of GMR, but CGW's review writers seem to be either escaped mental patients or hobos writing reviews for crack (under the influence of crack of course). Their reviews are a joke: they're short, non objective (a game will get a good rating only if you see its ad on the other side of the page) and generally stink.


Speaking of next RWS titles, read this recent interview with RWS for insight on upcoming titles.

They dont announce any titles in that interview. They said:

Now that Postal 2 is out, what are your short and long term plans?

Nathan: Play games, program, and... play more games?

Can you be more specific?
Do you know which (kind of) game will be released next?

In my opinion most gaming magazines are good for their articles and interviews, but the majority of reviews are worse than those found on the net. *cough*edge*cough*

if you make a game that will sell only for its rude side, you can expect someone to rank only the rude side.

Further more giving the game a low rank they just did company interest, as you can see at once they made a press release to let everyone know. Postal 2 has 0 advertisment (at least online), still it is really well known, that's how Vince plays and he's more than happy for that perfect score.
