Blackscreen when startup...

I bought the game via steam and keep getting blackscreen. All the sounds work and menus seem to work but theres just nothing but blackscreen (no video).

Windows XP with sp3
DirectX 9.0c
Just over 1gb RAM
AMD Athlon 64 x2 2.5GHz
Graphics card is PCI express x16: Powercolor Radeon X800 XL with 256mb of memory from ATI, of course

And so on... ask me if you need to know more.

I have updated my video drivers and directX. I've tried deleting "treyarch.bik".

Any ideas???

I assume cod: world at war. Your pc is simply in need of an upgrade since it can barely keep up with today's games.
