Most of your comments make my balls hurt Kami.

Anyway, the car looks interesting. I wonder how this game is going to hold up against the might of GT5/Forza 3/Dirt 2 since those titles are all up for release around the same time.

Is it just me or is the "overshine" of the vehicles gone in this new NFS? That would be something it is time for since, well, a few years actually.

This car (McLaren F1) with that "serious" looks seems to be a clue to me, for the letting go of that pimp my ride/ fast & furious stuff. It's also getting about time for that.

Yea, the new Need for Speed Shift game does concentrate on true authentic racing and they have shine away from the souped up fast and furious type of cars. The realism of the game looks amazing. It does live up to the "driver's eperience".

Are there more NFS or racing fans on this board?

I'm a huge racing fan, even have my own custom racing seat setup. Gran Turismo is heaven, and I played some need for speed games in the past. Not really my cup of tea though. I am curious to see how the new need for speed will look like on the psp though, the arcady type of game fits nicely on that platform.

Oh wow cool, u should post up ur racing seat setup that u got going. The new NFS shift game is going to be a very realistic racing sim game just like GT. It's the first time in the NFS series that they are heading towards that direction. From the looks of it, they have done a really good job. Just curious, have u seen snippet of the game?

I'll post some pics once I am done with the rest of the room. I saw some videos a while back. A trailer with lots of crashes with amazing crash sounds and a drift mode trailer which looks awesome to those who care. I prefer real racing, so drifting is the exact opposite of what I try to accomplish on a racetrack. Still drifting is a must have in games these days...
