In case you have been reading the news about this game, like I have today, you may have noticed that some sites are saying that there will be no LAN play in the game due to this quote: "There will be no offline multiplayer, nor an offline co-op mode. Online you can play the co-op mode with up to four friends.". I was about to bitch about the no LAN play until I went to their forums and read this today:

It's not often I post directly to the forums but I spotted this and wanted to stop you guys from worrying about this.

When Sion said no offline he meant no split screen. We are fully supporting LAN/System link on console as well as on PC for not only the single player co-op campaign but also the multiplayer PVP.

I hope this clears up this issue.

So it would seem that they will have LAN play! Which is great cause I don't buy a game that does not have LAN!
