Stolen Splinter Cell screens

What is going on here?

I know this post will most likely get deleted (as did my post last week about the Soldiers Of Liberty screens with Krawall.de watermark), but i just saw those "new" Splinter Cell Pandora screens and i noticed that they were taken from another website.

I saw those screenshots over the weekend, saved them and just compared ..

Obviously without permission, since their "watermark" has been badly removed in several of the screenshots (you can still see part of it in the right top corner) or simply tried to cut off the top part of the picture and resized it to make it look better ...

Maybe some other place did this, and you just took them over, but either way whoever posted those should not bring Gamershell down in this manner, very childish!

Gamershell also got their screens stolen recently (although that doesn´t make it right).

What kind of sad excuse would that be?

Only lame little sites feel the need to "steal" screens from other sites, that's their problem.

A nice site like GH should not have to resolve to tactics like that to begin with, the only thing you accomplish is lowering your site's standards...

Some places take screens and leave the watermark intact, so they give credit to whatever place they took them from ...

Here the watermark was removed, screens botched, resized and the GH mark added.

I am sure GH took actions (or tried to) against whoever stole the screens you mention, but that should not constitute as a valid excuse to do the same to others ...

And if you are refering to that funny shit a little while ago where the publisher used GH waterarked screens, well they were their screens to begin with, and according to that forum thread, the screens were later removed.

If GH had any honor they would remove the screens as well.

I did not see anything removed from the pics, but this is just me.

in the right top corner you can see remnants of a watermark, in screen 6, 7 and 8 (especially visible in 6 & 8)...

screenshot 1-5 are all missing a part of the top side of the screen, especially 1 and 3 (the entire fan on the ceiling is missing)

Well I see what you are refering to but, I don't know if I would say they were stolen! It could be any number of things. Maybe Bucky or John D knows more about it

That is exactly why i put up this post .. so somebody in charge would see/notice and take action ..

And if you see what i mean, how can you say that you are not sure ... The proof is right there (or in this case, missing , obviously somebody removed the watermark and have been taken from somewhere ...

What I mean is, I can see what you are talking about, that doesnt mean that I agree that it is a mark of another site. And for all I know, if it is a mark, maybe they shared

It IS a mark, since i saved the screens from the other site (i'm a big Splinter Cell fan and keep them on my desktop as wallpaper , and its part of their logo.

If they shared, why did they not give the un-watermarked screens, does not make sense to try and remove (and doing so very badly) their own mark and then share them ...

On top of that, there were 12 screens and they were in higher resolution
