Enemy Territory for everybody

Got this mail from activision and i think this will interest some of you... especially those who have a slow connection or limited bandwidth...



"We have some great news about Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory -- if you've been holding off on the download because of your bandwidth, you won't have to any longer. Over the next couple of months, Enemy Territory will be on the discs of magazines all over the world! We've got a partial list below of gaming magazines that will be including Enemy Territory and when they're coming out. We'll keep an updated list on www.castlewolfenstein.com.

We hope you'll consider posting this so that those readers who haven't had a chance to get ET know where they can get it without the download. Thanks!"

Thats a damn lot! (and a lot of bandwidth too, lol)

ET is a very good game. it has a good arcade feeling (gameplay isn't totally realistic but weapons and classes are well balanced in most cases). AND IT'S FREE!!!!!

The best thing about the game is that you have to play it with a teamwork spirit, there need to be covering fire, medic supplies, engineering and covert operations and more for a team to have any chance!

I think having a really large amount of active members gets a little bit out of hand sometimes, tis' nice to have a few regulers like me and a few people who visit now and again

ET was fun... too many newbies and FFA'rs.

but, having it on cds to save the huge download for 56kers is great, but since it is an online only game, even though the ol 56kers dont have to spend days downloading it, i doubt very many will get into it, because lets face it, its pretty huge disadvantage online to play with a 56k, and also the vast majority of people with 56ks arent that hardcore gamers (since they cant be arsed to shell out for bb - unless they cant get it). well, its only good i guess!

where i can download ET ?? (only a demo-version)
