Been searching the net and found this excerpt from a U2 preview on gamespy

"As if all this weren't enough, Legend is promising a unique multiplayer experience to go along with the package. Not content to add simple deathmatch and capture the flag modes, a new game type called XMP -- "Expanded Multiplayer" -- is being included with Unreal 2. In this new mode, you'll get to choose from one of three races (Marine, Mercenary or Skaarj), and then one of three classes: Grunt, Spook or Tech, each with their own abilities. Similar to The Wheel of Time's Citadel mode, you'll fight for control of various areas, and as you claim them, you'll gain access to advanced technology to add to your base, such as force field generators, gun turrets, repair robots, and more"

Looks interesting.
