Iron Storm Demo Impressions

Anyone played it yet? Any Comments? Is it buggy as well?

HHHMM.... It wouldnt even work . i would get the setup menu and click on play my screen would flash black for a sec and then nothing.

Exactly same thing for me, usually called, I believe, CTD (crash to desktop). I have been visiting the game's forums for hopefully a solution. It seems there are other problems like mouse not working right and sound issues. Keep on a trying!

Demo ran fine for me, and was kinda fun. Single player is hard and somewhat frustrating. You basically have to keep playing a section until you figure out where the bad guys are so you can get them first. Looks decent (not great).

Multiplayer is a waste of time. I could only find 2 servers up, and one had over 500 ping! My ping to the server I got into was about 170, game had lots of lag and the map was a huge warehouse, not much fun IMO.

oldslowguy and ASPARGUS: did u try some of the stuff mentioned in the article notes (deleting "user.cfg", deleting the "movies" folder,...) ?
Also what kind of system do u have? What gfx card?

I've tried the demo myself and had no problems at all running it on my radeon 8500 under win2k, so try to give some more info if you want us to help u...

I wanted to play this demo but it CTD . im running windowsxp with a gforce 4400 and a audigy .

all in all not impressed !!
