For those of you who like charts (we get them each week, but I never bother posting them because it's always the same stuff...especially the US charts), here's this week top 10 in the US:
1 Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided - LucasArts $50 2 The Sims: Superstar Expansion Pack - Electronic Arts $30 3 Neverwinter Nights: Shadows Of Undrentide Expansion Pack - Atari $29 4 Rise Of Nations - Microsoft $45 5 The Sims Deluxe - Electronic Arts $43 6 Diablo 2 - Vivendi Universal Publishing $20 7 The Sims: Unleashed Expansion Pack - Electronic Arts $29 8 Finding Nemo: Nemo's Underwater World Of Fun - THQ Inc $20 9 Finding Nemo - THQ Inc $20 10 Warcraft III: Reign Of Chaos - Vivendi Universal Publishing $39 Three times The Sims and two times Finding Nemo... If someone from Maxis or EA is reading this, here's a suggestion for the next Sims expansion pack: Finding The Sims ![]() |

I will never understand how the hell The sims is on there so many times! It is old and the expansions cannot bring that much more to the game! I have a very hard time beiliving that the gamers of the world buy this crap! Are they just rating this by ppl who buy games at Walmart or what!

Hehe, it's the same in Sweden. Almost every family with a PC in their home owns a copy of The Sims. I used to work in a music/video game-store and I just couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. Every single time they released an expansion, people came and gave me some of their hard-earned cash just to get some EXTRA FURNISHING. It made me sick I tell you.
Oh darn it, I just can't stop ranting today. ;)

It's EA at work again. (I defiantly hate EA with a passion) money grabbing, cheesy-assed, monkey spanking, sons of a rare breed of rinocerous assholes. They have a stupid one I just saw on the main site something with magic, said it was like the 7th expansion, geez, I've tried it at my friends and I can't stand the game at all.
Good to see SWG is selling good, I still don't know if I'll buy it, the subscription fees urk me, a free trial to dl would be nice, but would be huge. I can't belive D2 is still up there, man that game's been going for a long time, I was addicted, wasted a year on it, then I lost my account online (stupid me forgot the pw...) It's a really good game though, and it's sold millions.

I don't hate EA. I would do the same thing they're doing if I noticed that people turn into to mindless zombies every time they hear (insert name of the game I've published here) and run out to get a copy.
But of course, I would make sure that the expansions are WORTH every single penny. ;)

Redeemers opinion about expansions: Hate 'em. The guy/gal who came up with the idea for expansions should be shot. Okay, I'm a bit drunk and I just ate spam. :alcoholic:
