Tron2 MP demo

I got it. Will be up for a game tomorrow (Tuesday).

Alright, I just played online a bit and the tutorial mission thing offline.

You can either play with a human (sprite or whatever) or with those bike things. With the bikes, you all know how it goes...Blue guy, red guy, green guy and they all have to cut eachother off. You can move the camera around with the mouse and turn with the keyboard.

When you play from a first person perspective, you control a man/woman/robot-like thing and you can throw disks around at other people almost like in Ricochet (HL mod). I gotta say the graphics are really sweet. The models are just plain cool, detailled, and have very nice environment maps on them. And every crack and most textures and objects are glowing...It really looks great. It's even cool when you die, since you see this...Kinda like when you turn off an old TV...Like light all fades out towards the center...Anyway, it seems like a nice game.


Oh and, I played it on max details and on 1024x768 and I rarely got under 60 fps. Great performance.

Wow, this sounds real cool getting it now. 25.6kb/sec, 1 hr. 30 minutes, pwnage!

:fart: Its about time they come out with a game for Tron....since the movie came out ages ago....looks pretty dam good...dling it now...hope my expectations are on the money....oh darn.....Disney made it....AHHH!!!

Ive just played an hour, and Big D. you dont throw the discs at each other, because that doesnt only sligh damage, its best to aim at the floor beneath as its deletes the floor , I played mostly with my Brother on LAN (because you can only play with the Tron bikes on LAN), he was crap, and only beat me about 4 times, whilst i got about 30 or so , its a really good game, just like tron as you dont need super duper graphics or textures or else it wouldnt be tron right?, i prefer the bikes as there is more skill envolved (mainly luck :P ),and also the servers i went on were all US so lagging in MP is not very good as the floor just suddenly dissapears beneath you without anything *seemingly* being shot at you , but if you are a fan of the Tron films you'll Love this :francesco: , and if your not, and have a 3ghz PC you'll thinks its a load of old :pooh:

i mean NOLF 2 look great in 2002 ....... with the modified Litech engine Tron 2 should look pretty darn goood.......
the bad part is that the game will be ONLY on dvd to prevent illegal copyng ...... darn it .......
