EDITED BY ADMIN: Mike, I already told you several times but this is getting ridiculous. We have posted the patch here BEFORE 3D gamers and you don't list our own mirror? I do appreciate that you wanna keep us aware of Codemasters' news, but the least you could do is at least CHECK OUR SITE before posting in our forum, especially when the news has been posted here.

I. INSTALLING THE PATCH:

The patch is a self-extracting file. Simply run it from the directory you downloaded it to

and it will find your Colin McRae Rally 3 directory and update the game.

II. FIXES:
==============

This patch contains the following updates:

1) Controller setup now contains a 'Return to Centre' option.

2) Non-English co-driver speech is fixed for Windows 98 machines with SBLive cards.

3) A sound glitch arising from wrongly reported maximum playback frequencies has been fixed

(this should improve sound quality on low-end cards)

4) Performance boosted on T&L cards by reducing the update rate for some of the effects.

5) Fixed a logic error that allowed running with no sound card to crash.

6) The VSync problem has been fixed.

7) Force feedback update rate improved.

8) The USA season 2 stages 1&2 English co-driver errors have been fixed.

Might be a tad un-alligned, but not ugly... Gonna need to resize it when I'll have time. My old demon avatar is long dead

I personally think it is nice that a dev takes the time to come in the forum and update us,. even if it is on the front page. Tis not like everyone looks there all the time anyway

i agree on that point Nxs, but what i don't like is that Mike gives links to other sites and doesn't even include Gamer's hell in the list of mirrors, even though we were the FIRST site to have mirrored it. It's like saying "host our files if you want, I don't care"...
