When my Jedi Academy Demo down-load was finished, i pressed the left-mouse button over it and selected open, and this error came up: There is no viewer configured to view this file, or the SFN is corrupted.

Doese this mean i have to down-load the file again, or is there an other sollution??

it works like this, you download the blahblah.sfn.exe file from us. If you dont have the client installed then you'll automatically start downloading it, and then you'll install it like any other app. When thats done you might need to start the exe again, but when you do that and click continue the client pops up, searches for peers, and starts downloading from the server, and whatever peers it found. When the download is finished the client decrypts the content, and asks you if you want to start whatever you downloaded. If you click yes then winzip or whatever pops up and you do what you'd normally do

Jono: try downloading the file again. if it's been a long time since you installed the client then you can try uninstalling it and getting the new version, but im not sure why it would be corrupt in the first place.

hey,

new question. I didn't see any kind of privavy policy linked to from the p2p app download page and i can't really find one on the site, so i'll ask a quick question here. to what extent does gamer's hell guarantee that the p2p app doesn't contain any kind of spyware/adware and to what extent is there an assertion that the p2p app doesn't report back to you anything about the client machine other than usage stats?

Hi Palidine,
the privacy policy is in the installation wizard, but we'll make one for the website soon. We dont have any intentions of spyware or adware, so the only thing that's sent back to the developers' servers is statistics - you can probably run a packet sniffer if you want confirmation
