I want to make a game but all I know how to do is write the characters and story. I dont know shit about coding and Animating models. I need help. I'm not releasing information about my game or story because I dont have anything copyrighted, yet.

Best bet like Syanide has already mentioned would be to become involved in making of some MOD, that should give you A LOT of inside knowledge on what makes games work... Once you master that, you should be able to go on on yourself.

Well, Man thing, my game actually started out as an Idea for a Hitman 2 mod. Upon finding that there are no editing tools for Hitman 2, nor the Glacier engine, I thought... "Hey... Io Interactive owns the Engine I want to use. They might want to buy my idea..." I dont know, though... I'm really nervous about it. But seriously... If the game goes as I have it planned... It will revolutionize Action gaming AND comedy gaming. XD

But really, I cant do this by myself. And admitting that is the first step... Damn AA meetings....

Hrm, sorry to be the one telling you this dude, but.... Basically game developers / publishers get HUNDREDS of submissions of new games and new game ideas. Usually they all lie around in one room for months collecting dust, before someone has the time to gradually check them. Now, it's VERY hard to sell a game or some proprietary code, but still doable... However, a game IDEA.... That's really a looooong shot. The chances of it being accepted are one to million, and even then they can just 'borrow' your idea without giving any credit ;)

Mm, I already know this. And I've actuall taken in to account. I'm looking in to Copyrighting my work and my Bullet Time idea. Any advice on that would be helpful. Apparently, I'm new to the business. Also, there's a cool game I downloaded from download.com!! Aces High! WWII MMOPRG Flight Sim like the old Warbirds. Only better! XD It's cool. Anyway, It's free, too. Also, is Max Payne 2 FPS or Third Person? On the "Latest screenshots" thing on the home page, it says FPS. Just wondering.
