thought that was the title bar :Oo: MCO may not have had the best physics, graphics, sounds or anything of that sort, so can you explain to me since you think you know so much about MCO, since it lacked those "key" factors why so many people remained loyal to it?

Hrm... So let's see, it's an "online" "multiplayer" game with slow and buggy netcode (or was when I tried it a while ago). The game's engine is really outdated, as is everything else. There's also a problem with its domination by 'older' players or ppl that play the game all day long against newbie players, which creates a certain barrier for new players.
All this really kills a game, that had a great potential at the beginning. Finally if a project isn't even able to generate enough profit to keep itself going... Hrm, why keep it alive? ![]()

if youre getting into a game about customizing cars and get in there and dont know how to do it, you shouldnt have came. Why to keep it alive is because there were people there who put time into learning how to make their cars suit their driving style, that buggy net code you speak of might have been an issue with your computer, MCO did do some evil things to you if it didnt like your video card. but despite the bugs, the people who did like this game helped support those who didn't do so well, like all things it takes time to figure a couple of things out, in a nutshell, you should have tried to learn what you were doing befoe saying it was biased. And to your final question, EA did not advertise MCO in any way shape or form, the community did take this into their own hands at times, those who took their cars to shows would print up an MCO banner and give info on it, since EA doesnt appreciate a loyal fan base, f**k em

what aggrivates me is that they're trying to move on and leave that code behind for the most part, in NFS underground, maybe I read it wrong, but I think they're using a new physics engine in it, if not a heavily modified version of the one MCO used. Thats another thing that really put the burner under our asses, we've basically been EA's guinnea pigs, its pathetic to see a gaming company do something like that, but as to moving on to another MMOG, aint happenin any time soon, unless Yikes is successful with his project

[b][i][size=7]You know i was one of those loyal MCO fans you all speak of.I loved the game,you know you could always get on there and find one of your friends or a club member and shoot the shit or just go race!And as for EA they can stick the next game they come out with where the sun dont shine.Cause as far as im concerned if i ever want any EA game again and i cant get it from kazaa then i just plain wont have it..As for you people that try and dog MCO there was help out there if you asked for it but you probley where one of the people i seen on there begging for money,so im sure nobody had respect for a begger!!And one last thing............. :thumbup: MCO RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
