LOTR/ XBOX

hey wassup people,
hey what have you guys been hearing on lord of the rings....
I saw a couple of clips of it, the graphics look cool. I know the game is based on the book which is cool because the movie left out some stuff...
but anyone who has info let me know

Ohh I got some info for ya! The xbox is just a $200 puter without an OS! With 46 billion in reserve youd think that microsoft would have the best console out there...but no they are in last! I personally hope all of their games suck. And b4 you bitch at me think of it this way...if i layed my cpu flat and connecten it to a tv it would be the same thing.. well except that my puter is faster, looks way better on a monitor, and above all is upgradeable! In the words of Dennis Miller... "Thats just my opinion I could be wrong"

Sorry I went a little off subject there! I really havent payed much attention to TLR just because I have not plyed a demo yet. The demo is, for the most part, how I rate my games.

Welp, the screenshots look nice and the specs sheet is impressive. And I'm a huge fan of LOTR ever since I was 10, so I'd have to get this one... For PC tho.

I know only one guy that had LOTR for PS2 for long time (industry guy) and he say it really rocks, all I could see so far is from gba version and I'm not -absolutely- enthusiast.

with LOTR you mean FOTR?

I played it over at my friend's house (he has an xbox)..
and it looks very beautiful.. sound is nice too..

The story follows the book pretty closely and the voice actors do a nice job.

The game uses a evil/goodness bar which will "fill up" goodness when you do things for other people.
When you start breaking chests and stuff while in other peoples houses the bar starts turning towards evil.
It's useful to be "good" cause then you can wear the ring sometimes (the ring will turn you to evil)

Tom Bombadil is in it and the barrow downs..

After Bree you get to play Aragorn, who is much better at fighting than Frodo.. and I guess you get to play Gandalf as well, later on

The game follows paths that you can walk on and everything else is just background mountains and hills.
I would have liked to be able to walk anywhere I wanted, but I hope0 maybe there will be a MMORPG someday or just a really huge pc game

Thanks Gandalf, that really did help. No doubt I'll buy it whenever it gets ported to the PC.
