This is my second post so hello to you all.
Looking forward to be posting here on this board so hopefully I'm welcome. Anyway, with that out of the way let's move on to the topic at hand. WarCraft III Battle.net strategies. Now, I guess you got some WC3 topics buried many pages back but let's just start a new one. I'm what you would call an average WC3 player. I don't really got any firm startegies on any of the four races and I would like to hear from you guys. Tips, strategies, whatever makes me better. I play it online mainly with Random as my choice because Im after those dragon avatars. The basic's for my strategies for each race is as follows: Human: Well, I take some time building up some forces and I always have two barracks. I also make the ...err... whatever makes the elven healers. I only use one hero and that is the Paladin. Divine shield, Brilliance aura and ressurection are all great abilities imo. So in other words: My forces consists of swordmen, gunners, elven healers and the paladin hero. Undead: With the Undead I choose the Dread Lord as my hero(I only use one hero because then I get to level him up quicker then I would with two). Love his aura(gives the units 15, 30 and 45% of the attack damage as they inflict back as hitpoints). I try to rush with the Undead making a lot of Ghouls and then just heading over to the enemy. Orc's: With the orc's I take it slow by building up a big force. I use the standard Orc soldiers and the "bear mages". The trolls can be good for healing too though. I usually put the "farms"(forgot name) tight together as if there is an attack on my base I just ram them full of peons and arrows will fly all over the place. I use the Tauren as my hero. Night elves: With the Night elves I build a barrier of Moon wells around my base as it will make the defending easier because of the constant healing they provide. I only produce one type of unit though and that is the hunteres. It's a bit foolish you might say because if the nemy launches an air attack Im done for it. But usually they don't... and if they do I just start creating bow women as fast as I can. I use the Demon hunter as my hero as he is a great fighter and the "demon" ability he gains later is just great. I don't exactly rush with the elves but I give them(the enemies) a visit or so when I have my first group(12x) up and running. If you want to see my current ladder stats follow the address below: http://www.battle.net/war3....rthrend It's not something to brag about by far but that's why we are here are'nt we(atleast me)? To improve my(and hopefully your) WarCraft III battle.net expertise. |

We had a thread going about this a while ago, but I'm not sure the same guys are around anymore.
http://www.battle.net/war3/ is always a good place to go for warcraft 3 strategies.
