Halo 2 for xbox looks top!
hope fully in 2005 it will be released for pc!
I reckon it will need p4 1.5 ghz min
p4 2.0ghz recommended!
I only have geoforce mx 440 128mb which is not top of the range but it does the job of running games fine for the next 6 months or so! :thumbup:

:P I reckon gaming has evolved to a standard no one 20yrs ago would of ever realised!

It looks close if not the exact same as the first one, which was not very good and can not compare to alot of other FPS's on the PC, the reason why it sold great for Xbox is because its the best game for the XBOX!

imo halo beats any other fps out at the moment, including pc games. the pc version was just a crap conversion. before anyone doubts halo i recomend you check out the xbox version first

;) well i think the pc version of halo is good.i played halo on the xbox about a year ago and while i liked the game i didnt like the controls.i really cant understand why everyones complaining about the pc conversion it plays ok on my computer and looks better(although not by much)

How the hell do u compare a fps game between console and pc?

It started with pc...and it always be better.

And how the hell do u play fps game on a console...auto-aim everything?

Halo looks like crap on xbox anyway. People make a big fuss about it cause they like fps but got a piece of shiet computer.

I agree with Ben, you gotta get the X-Box version in order to truly enjoy Halo. I think the reason some of you don't like Halo is because your mom wouldn't buy you an X-Box.

Did I say anywhere that I only played PC or I only played Xbox?

I infact played both, I beat the PC version and I played the first 3 levels on Xbox, they play the exact same aside from the aiming (for that I like the PC version better). There are many better PC games out there, for example Jedi Knight 2/3 (yes they are considered FPS's), Global Operations, Tron 2.0 and of course Half-Life :P

Xbox will never seem worth it to me, it is not the console that makes the console, it is the games. How many worth buying games does Xbox have? like 4 including Halo (yes its worth buying and a good game, but it can't hold a candle to many other games), as long as Xbox has a low amount of worth buying games it will never be a worth buying console.

I think FPS are simply better on the PC because you can actually have the skill factor...Which is non-existant on consoles...Everyone and anyone can pass those games...Most enemies are right in front of you, not above/under you...People barely ever even strafe and can still pass the games.

Anyway, still, Halo 2 looks VERY nice...Trust me, it does not look "just like Halo"...It's basically like Halo but with much higher polygon counts and with per-pixel lighting and shadows (as seen in Doom 3). It's a lot better-looking than the original Halo.

Don't rely on the crappy video...Look at the screenshots from the video.
