CoD Maps and Mods

So, now that there are some new maps and mods out I just wanted to know what ya think of them. Mostly they are made from german and netherland CoD modders. I tried some and must say most of them are quiet good and some are enjoyable, none were really bad so far:

Mods:
German Front Mod,- deffenitly the best mod so far(even for a beta, dunno if there is already a full version) in that you play the campain from the view of the germans. Great idea and even better mod

The 22nd Infantry Devision: The Battle of Hurtgen Forest mod is basicly a skinmod and then some. The snow is replaced by dirt(extra for you Dirt-Pride :P ) and the weapon skins got changed. The germans wear now Wehrmachtsuniformen and the allies wear the (doh) 22nd devision uniforms.THERE ARE NO LONGER MINEFIELD WARNING SIGNS, and the mortars are a killer. A lil bit more blood and your carring limit has been lowered,- max 3 clips for M1 Carbine for example.

the other mods were good but nothing really new to the original game. I'm still waiting for the Omaha Beach mod.

Maps:
For all those who loved the Pegasus mission(the bridge) you deff gonna need the MP map. It's a sniper funhouse but also gives great rush ins if there are more players(20 on my mind). this map is availible in day and night.

Berlin is another great MP map that is basicly the last mission and then some, sinse you didn't get to really explore the map in the original campain you get your chance here. great for sniping and rushing. It contains some force fields that dosn't let you cross the rooth and such but otherwise an exellent map for 30-40 players since the size is quiet big.

Street is a small CQB map which is most enjoyable with 6-10 ppl. This map reminds me alot on CounterStrike.

Tank Town is the map where you play as the tank in the campain. It's quiet bugged( you might fall thru the floor and can't get out) and you are hold on the road by forcefields(invisible walls). But it's still fun to play. this map is good for smaller teams as for larger, depending on how you play it.




There are more but I havn't got a change to try them throuly enough to give an opinion. :dennis:

So, now go and get some maps n mods or make some. I'm tired of the 12 in game maps :dennis:

I got the mods for the demo. The BoB, the Korean war one, all cool mods, and for the demo! Yipee! I don't know when I'm gonna get the full version...

Hmm, never heared of BoB and Korean Mod for CoD. Gonna check it out :dennis:

Use GOOGLE to find them. I get all the maps send to so I don't know what site you can get them. All the sites I can find a re in german or dutch, so tuff luck for english only folks :dennis: :P

Check out Call of Duty Frontline That's where I got those. You have to register to view the downloads, why, I don't know, but it's free. They're basically just skin and sound mods for the demo, but I really like them. I don't know if they'd work for the retail. There's also one for a drivable tank in the Dawnville demo. It's quite buggy but fun. Also a pretty sweet website for everything else CoD.
