STALKER pre-alpha build demo

guess what ppl i just played the STALKER pre alpha demo
what cand i say only that the Half Life BETA is cooler , and way bigger .
This pre alpha build has 3 levels (twice , because in one set you can just walk around the level and in the second set there is some AI characters)
Oh yeah from what i've seen sofar KARMA sucks :bucky!:
The build is rar compressed and it is 118MB , the lame part is that the weapons sounds are that from Counter-Strike .
It's not a leaked version because none reported a leaking B)

You mentioned that the HL beta was better, thereby saying that you've tried it. Warez.

And there are only two ways to play a game:
1. Buying the game or
2. Playing the demo that is ANNOUNCED AND RELEASED BY THE DEVELOPERS!
Legal demos are AT FIRST released on different game webpages or such and when you have downloaded it you choose if you want to share it with the kazaa or edonkey network. That's legal. But playing a demo that's never been announced, mentioned, published or released by the developers is WAREZ! *end of story*

This is getting on my nerves. :rant:
Im not just talking about a single person or a single thread, but recently A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND THE RULES: 4. No warez!

And, yes, I tried both (sorry to say that, no warez I know, tried and deleted the Half life thing)

And the Stalker thing runs fine and looks good for sure if this is from 2002.

What KARMA? In Stalker will be Havoc 2.0 engine (i'm not quite sure about this). KARMA was in Unreal 2 and Unreal 2003.
In this Alpha there are no physics!!

Yeah...And word on the shtreet is it runs pretty well even on GF3 cards, and for such a detailled game, that's great news. (Though I haven't seen much DX9 shader usage yet)

Anywho, I hope dumb people won't start saying the game sucks, has no physics, etc. since, this is a very early build after all.

found out about this december 29th late in the night it seems good for whts in it and there! cant wait for the real thing!!

Yes, the Alpha is true, yes its from 2002 - yes it doesnt have many, if ANY Dx9 effects implemented, including NO dynamic shadows - because its from 2002.

.... Ima gonna lock this, until another admin wants to Unlock it - not sure wether to keep this discussion open.
