GTA4 will not take place in Sin City, Rockstar has shot it down to be nothing more then a rumor.

This are two different games!

GTA: San Andresa will be in this year and it will be similar to GTA VC (this same engine)
GTA: Sin City will be relased on PS3, so we have to wait until PS3 be reelased.

San Andreas is not San Francisco. San Andreas is a city and San Francisco is a city. There is the San Andreas fault which runs along the San Franciso bay area but that is totally off subject.

According to the link NXS provided us with, there is only one game being released this year and that is GTA IV: Sin City. The game will take place in a Las Vegas-like-city and will propably use the current graphics engine. Also there is no mention of it being released on PS3. PS3 is still very hush hush and we still have a while before it is released.

I think what volvox was getting to is like this: Liberty City is similar to New York City and Vice City is similar to Miami. Not the Liberty City IS New York. I hope this clears things up for you Orion.

I still want proof of where Volvox got his info, cause that sounds made up to me.

Guys the new GTA game will be called "GTA: San Andreas" if you don't believe me go check out this link, the whole "Sin City" thing was a rumor and an april fools joke that Amazon UK thought was true! This article is like from a day or two ago! So it is the most up to date info, it also says this "San Andreas, a hybrid of Los Angeles and San Francisco" so the guy who said it was going to take place in a mock San Fran was partly rght.
