Is anyone else tired of waiting 4 + years for game

Im not really impatient about games, but I get really pissed when the games I actually buy are a disapointment. I spent 100 on games this year and for the games I got, that was 100 too much. Namely, Halo for PC and True Crime. Halo I thought was going to be fun because of the multiplayer and I totally bought into the statement that the port's netcode had been made excellent. What we got was a lagging, system hog with stability bugs. True Crime I heard from a friend that it was hot so I went out and bought it. Too bad it has a wackass plot and the controls suck imho.

I spend 150$ on Halo , Call of Duty(not great but ok), and Gothic 2, totaly rocks
So it was not a good games/money year4 me

I didn't buy a single new game in 2003. This is mostly due to the fact that I don't want to have to play games at low-medium settings on my GF3, so come late spring I'll be upgrading and building my own rig, so I'll have a lot of catching up to do. If my system was up to par I would've bought 6-8 games I bet. You may ask me what I've been playing for the past year, and the answer is Team Fortress Classic, I've been addicted for 4 years now and play everyday, and since I've been in one and only one clan for that period of time(and going) its still fun and competitive. I absolutely cannot get enough of TFC. Still, I can't wait to upgrade.

Hehe, next time wait for review from any site that you trust (not necessarily GH at all!), instead of listening to the publishers / developers. Their job is to sell games, our job is to protect the consumer

Ok when he becomes 70th the game will be in Pre-Alfa stage

Well, if we are talking about DNF, I think it won't come out until 2005, maybe 2006. If what Broussard says is true and they're actually *gasp* making progress, a decent game takes around 2 years to develop...
