most played game ever

Ok, I think MAFIA and Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 - I hope 3 will be developed faster!
It's great what Sawyer does alone (OK, Simon Foster as a graphican too)!

And now, it's Colin 2! A great game, expecially the swedish rally.

For its gotta be FF XI followed by COD and Halo for the PC. All three of these games have scked up countless hours of my life.

I think the most played games ever is Max Payne 1, The Sims and of course, Half-Life 1.

Those games are FAR FAR from being the most played games ever.

Maybe half-life because of the mods.

Good competitors would be Everquest, Diablo 1 & 2, Lineage, Dark age of Camelot.

Yeah mostly online RPG's or MMORPG's, i gues itll be something like Diablo 1&2, Starcraft, Everquest, Linage and probebly World Of Warcraft when it comes out....

anyone that says everquest is the most played mmorpg is sadly mistaken. it is the most played in the US, though. here's some numbers i dug up.

Since 1999, Everquest has had 19k Users (this number is dropping)
Since 2002 FFXI has had 19k users (this is rising)
Since Lineage first came out, it has 4 million users daily.

I play FFXI and i can't afford to play any other mmo's so i couldn't tell you which one is better.
