I just wanted to know if anyone here has downloaded those NV40 real-time technology demos recently posted here on GamersHell.com. I am currently downloading them right now (should be done in under 20 minutes), but I wanted to know if they are real or just another April's Fool joke...

They look pretty kool to me, but its all about how well they run the games IMO

well yeah, but what the videos show is effects you get by using vertex shader 3.0 and pixel shader 3.0 features; stuff you probably won't see with ati's next gen cards. but then again, developers are only now starting to make really good use of pixel and vertex shader 2.0 features, so you can bet your ass those are effects we won't be seeing in games for a long time

definitely not for awhile

I thought those videos were pretty cool and certainly welcomed
When it comes to graphics and 3d one thing i'm most interested in is the lighting effects and the shadow rendering.
