I believe that the NEW English-language demo isn't out yet... There was a half-Italian demo released for it somewhere in year 2001, but it's really hard to find it nowadays. My suggestion would be to wait for the official English Got Game demo - by the way hiv, can you ask Got Game about demo plans directly?

No word about a 'new' demo yet, but you can now download the 'old' one if you wish
