Ps2 or X-Box

Well.. by superiority means, the X-Box is on top.

X-Box Live is turning widely populated, and Halo 2 is generating more and more interest every month. Also, I cannot recall a "Steel Battallion" for the PS2, or the extremely unique mech controller for it (over 40 buttons... to imitate controlling a mech). Steel battalion is the best 200$ you could spend for the X-Box (besides the Xbox itself).

On another hand:

PS2 has more popularity in general. SOCOM 2 itself has over 100 thousand players (over 60k on every day) and is also one of the most popular PS2 games available (especially with the HDD support). Still, the PS2 can't compare to the technical specs of the X-Box.

I agree there's no doubt that X-box rules on graphics (evan if there are less games for it and nobody seems to know how to make your legally made safety copies work)
And this SUCKS because i'we scratched my HALO disk and now i have to buy my self another one

ps2 or x-box i like them both but know am giving them less itnsion because i onley take care of my ps3 but i will not take saids they both are good but the x-box has beter graphics.

Hurray, a topic from 2004 brought back to life again.

In hindsight the Xbox turned out to be a flop, a financial failure that didn't even dent PS2 or Gamecube sales at that time. I personally rather liked the first Xbox in contrary to that hardware failure we call the 360 these days and has been getting outsold by both the Wii and PS3 for many months now.

I never understood why MS didn't keep the Xbox around when they launched the 360. It had been a profitable console by then, with 26 million units sold and software sales rising up. Anyway, itś gone now with the PS2 still doing great these days. Survival of the fittest

nope. while i just recenty start playing all the old xbox games i missed back then i must say the system was never what it could have been. especially since MS dropped it complettly after the release of the 360, while the PS2 still got made many games and support for it.

Steel battalion was a crap game. i knew it was a crap game because i played it before i bought it. the only reason why i spend mony on it was because of the controller. it is the sweetest thing ever made for a console and probably the only controller board that surpasses any PC accessory. one problem with xbox was the week eastern game dev support but that has change for 360, which got more Jtarded RPGs than the PS3 as of now. Actually i play more PS2 games on my PS3 than Ps3 games....which is kinda odd since back then I was playing more Xbox and DC than PS2. Main diff is that most Xbox games i play now is still lotsa fun while most ps2 games seems to be made for its time by boasting graphical and gimmicky stuff over gameplay. now that i play them it becomes more appearent.

To bad the Steel bat controller wasn't adopted by other games...it would have been the non plus ultra in total controll for flight sims and such.
