I've been messing with these demos and you know, they are pretty good!
They can be frustrating, you can spend 10-15 mins on a mission and crack up, which is aggravating. I keep telling myself, "This is a sim!"
But all in all, I'm impressed
IMO, Vietnam Medevac is more fun.
If you like flight sims, give em a try.

Was it any good? We actually needed to make an e-mail interview with the game's developers, let me know if you'd be interested.

Which game?
X-wing, or SAR4/Vietnam Medevac.
Just FYI, I am actually going to see what that Vietnam Medevac game costs. Flew a demo mission a little bit ago in a thunderstorm.
That game is pretty damn good!

X-plane
As for Search and Rescue titles, our own Mitchell is supposed to be reviewing them (the same guy that made the Combat Flight Sim review) - I believe he already got the review copies from Global Star. And they're a bit expensive at this stage, cost around $40 USD (full-priced product)

X-Plane looks like a very nice work, if you like the Pure flight sims (a la MSFS 2000). Â*I don't however Â*
Bummer about the $40. Â*I think they are gouging a bit deep packaging the same game with different skins for $40 each.
I'll watch for that summer next year then, I guess Â* [/b][/quote]
Would you write questions for our x-plane interview?
