Ill go for Xbox. Not many games but if you manage to get their live service...you'll have so much fun playing online.

XBOX:
+ like a PC, so has a hard drive
+ has Live service

PS2
+ more games to choose from

xbox offcourse explain :

xbox = better games and gfx

ps2 = gfx sucks and only some nice games

so xbox better..

Just one question: Can you play GTA:VC on XBOX? No? So now you know what to get

IMO that`s the best game available at the moment...

It`s up to you...which genre you like most.

If you mainly go racing games (like me) PS2 is much better than XBOX. Cuz you have NFS6 (much better than on XBOX), Burnout 2, Gran Turismo 3 (much better than SGT`02 or PGR).
If you like FPS then XBOX might be your choice: Halo and the upcoming sequel (as well as Unreal Championship) are pretty nice. Although i have to say i played Halo some times and i think it`s absolutely overestimated...
If you like action in general then PS2 has just more (and much better) games: GTA3, GTA:VC...and Splinter Cell is coming for PS2 next year too...

Well...your choice...

Yer but the company rockstar which do gta has been brought over by mircosoft for the xbox right or am i right

Check difference between Wreckless PS2 and Xbox version.
Then u got ur answer.

BTW the Xbox version runs at 30FPS and PS2 at 60FPS , but look at all those FX u miss.

Depends on your gaming genre and pocket...

if you can afford A LOT of games.. ps2 has more

Both have their pro, though as they are, ps2 right now is still better, rumors about SEGA could change my opinion, anyway get first one now and second one after x-mas when they will be cut to $150

Well again, I would have to say ps2 as xbox is just a puter on tv. Of course I have never plyed the xbox so I cant really give it a fair judgement
