Soldner: Secret Wars

The game is great (online) and sometimes offline, and the graphics... people are complaining every day about them. These are not from 20 years ago! two at the most!

If this game looked like Doom 3, with the same 50km view range, even the most powerful system to date would explode and never be revived (due to shrieking horrors of that power game). Soldner's engine on the other hand, is toned down while still providing a nice ease to the eyes. Sure JoWood might not have a great track record, but atleast they made a one-of-a-kind game (modern 3rd Person military sim). The thing is, they make good concepts but not great internal coding. (see: Cold Zero , one of my favorite games

)

PLUS: People are comparing this game way too much to the incredible lag-fest/horrible coding-where-I-can-walk-through-anything engine called Joint Operations.

Give JoWood some time!

That game f**king sucks! I havent played online (didnt even wanna bother). What the game needs is a big patch. And when it sometime will be released i dont even wanna bother downloading the 500 mb.

The AI sucks if you havent noticed. The graphics are filled with glitches, are outdated and vehicle physics SUCK!
Sound is moderate. But not near the good end.
Loading times are terrible! Even on a good computer.

This game is a BAD rip-off of OF. Arcade version of it I might even say. Even OF is better though i dont like it.

oh, it's the devil's worst nightmare....

Not picking this game up anytime soon.

Oh, and just because you are a fanboy of JoWood, it doesn't mean it's a good game, sorry

Did I say I was buying everything that came out? I've watched this game since announcement, and never have put it down, even when it was badmouthed.

I see the core of the game, the gameplay is great if you see it from my viewpoint. Sure it has bugs, but still, I'm talking about a game that can be a good game if people understood it's points.

Unfortunately, people dont take time out from their day to play what is in theory a good game. Too bad its just not fun. :P

the beta was 10x worst than what it is now, it's actually playable and moderately enjoyable.

and I DID pick up the drift, but I did nothing to deserve that lame title from an expired milk jug.

Anyway. Soldner is a cool game and it was made by Wings and Published by Jowood. THis game is not for everyone. A lot of peeople hate it because of bug phisics and singler player stuff. I've been watching that game since the first screenshot. It sounded great. The features ,the amount of guns, multiplayer, destructive system, the vehicles. It was just asome until the beta came out. The beta is the thing that ruined everything. Loading time sucked, disconnection like evey 5 minutes, connecting to server was like hell. I was acctually having fun with those stupid phsics. I was doing destruction derbies with my friends, doing crazy stunts, its a cool game. Too bad that most of you gave up on that game, but it had a cool bombing kit

, place that bomb on the car and drive around like a terrorist blowing people buildings and trees. Wings promised that they will increase their effort to improve the game a lot. Well there is a patch for European version of the game that fixed many bugs and physics(tested myself). Damn this game has a good idea. You should give Soldner a second chance after it released in US.
