well? alot of console gamers are gonna be saying halo 2, and i dont blame 'em :thumbup: , also ps2 owners will probably be saying killzone, and again i dont blame 'em :thumbup:

but what about you guys any games you will be getting?

im getting burnout 3 for sure, it looks amazing :thumbup: , way faster than burnout 2 (dunno how they did it) and graphically is ment to be better than any xbox racer out atm (yes even project gothem) and thats on the ps2 so the xbox will be slightly better (developers need to learn from criterion, they push the pretty limited hardware of consoles to the max)

also sillent hill 4 looks ace

and we cant forget chronicles of riddick (im from UK so it aint here yet ) which looks cool

so what you guys getting from september time to xmas (since whos gonna be buying anything during the summer draught where for some reason decent games arnt allowed to be released?)

Highest ive got so far is $80 million crash , i managed to smash into 2 busse which caused a blockage where 5 car's (ish) smahed them both, knocked them over then a log truck came and rolled them over again and another load of busses and car's came in... Carnage!

hey, consoles even tho not as powerfull as a pc, obviously, do have pros, not just cons, FPS arnt that bad on the xbox, if you played one you would understand, i know its no way as good as a pc, but what pc games lack is ease of use, you cant just put disc in and play, you have to f**k about with instalation, setting it up to run all nice, its a pain, consoles give you ease of use and are also not limited by memory, pc are, my pc hase a 150Gb hard drive, it can store plenty, but no way the amount of games for a console, since they dont have to store anything, they just play, yes loading becomes a factor but who cares. not me thats for sure, oh and theres only 2 genras of game i can think of that are PERFECT for a pc (in perfect i man you just need a pc, no games pad, no joy stick just a pc) and thats FPS and RPG's, action adventure games are crap to play on a pc, racing games also crap to play on pc, sport games also crap to play on pc, fighting games crap to play on pc, platform games crap to play on pc, this is what i mean, its all about ease of use, consoles even tho limited to the power they've got, do have alot of pros over pc's, its just pc's are better for FPS, RPG's and online play, simple.

and even tho pc's are quite abit more powerfull than consoles i havnt really seen THAT many games on pc that look much better than that of a console (specially the xbox) half life 2 and doom 3 are coming to console (yes they wont be FULL pc quality but doom on xbox looks damn nice, and you cant argue with that) and by the time the really nice looking games like unreal 3 come out, the next gen of consoles will be realeased so all games will look like that, so basically consoles even tho underpowered at the end of their life, there arnt really any pc games that look good enough to make it massivly apparent.

and the reason, pc developers need to alow for the bigest audience to buy the game, so they need to make the game run on a range of pc setups, this is the main problem because those with low end pc's will be loving it, but those with high end pc's will be cringing cos they know their pc can do sooo much better, consoles tho can be pushed to their limits because no matter how good the graphics are it doesnt matter because there is only one type of xbox/ps2/gc so they can play the game.

sorry to rant about it, its just all pc gamers do is put down consoles like there is no point in them, like you should ONLY have a pc, i have all consoles and a decent-ish pc, all games i buy are for console cos i cant be bothered to mess about with setting of the game, or installation, etc, i play only mmorpg's and online FPS on pc, and thats it, if it was between a single player FPS on pc or xbox, id go for xbox because i dont see any major difference, the xbox wins because of ease of use, if online play was involved the pc would win

it take 5-20 min to install a game, 150 GB can store about 60 games - do u play more than that in the same time with ur console?

FPS , RPG and RTS (want to u play that on console) r the best genres imo (u can play good enough Racing games and Advanture games on PC).

u right that fighting games r better on console, but i would get an Arcade keyboard for full FUN

i dont say that u shouldnt buy console or shouldnt play or something like that, imo PC experience is better for the generes i mentioned above, but i'm sure console is also fun.
