Who found Farcry boring?

I found that the first few levels of farcry are very good fun (whilst configuring the graphics settings so it works with ya frigging computer) but when you get to the cave levels it kinda defeats the object of having spent years makig a game for its great scenery just to be thrown into a crappy, boring and uninteresting cave with crappy unthought-ou monsters. Any opinions?

Well, FarCry is made in Bavaria..where I'm from..so it's the best game ever...hrhrhr
Naa, The first couple of Levels where good but when the Monsters started to appear it became sort of a ....kiddie game.
The graphics are great but it was to sterile. Everyone is shining and fresh polished. But the worse part is the MP.
They could have save that and instead made more fun to play levels.
But FarCry looks already better than anything HL2 showed(in game wise, not the DX9 clip)

I am with kami on the MP part
it wuz unballanced, the monster yeah they where a bit of a spoil
but not the whole time, just the parts where there where to many of em where anoying for me
,but overall the game really kicks ass.

I haven't tried the fullversion, only the demo (The Fort level and the Research level). Actually, I thought this was an sneaking game (In the beginning, when the demo was very new), but it wasen't. I don't think I am going to buy it, cause I diden't like it very much (But of course, the MP sounds fun). When I'm thinking about it, it was quite boring. They should have worked more with the car cause it was damn hard to steer (Maybe I'm just a bad player :P ), but I like the boats. It was funny shooting the poor birds, he he!

But for the game....i just finished it
And i must say....you are ALL wrong(my opinion :P )
The game is freeking great the first few levels(till nr5)
Then ya get those badd ass monsters......wich totaly ruin the game, but i gues that's the point where most opinions just Stop....since that part f**ked it up hard.
BUT after about 5 really crappy monster levels, there's TOTAL FREEDOM, ya get mixes between Soldiers and some Monsters(bleeh :dennis: )
But also a hole Island from about 5km, and lots of vehicles, i gues at that point the game is even better then the first few levels(even the best game i ever played i gues)
So the hole game is quite diffirent...you have a few great levels at the start, then you'll have some total crap, and then PURE GREATNESS, and after that 5 levels with the Climax off the game(wich i aint gonna tell eh where normal from quality (But goddamn those where sooo difficult(played on Challinging)
So it's about the best game from the past year IF there warent anny monsters, now its only really good :thumbup:
About MP, dunno, not really like it

I love the monsters. I love the soldiers. I love the inner levels. I love the outer levels. I love FarCry. Second best FPS ever (my opinion).

Ohyeah, I didn't like the MP me as well, but they promised us millions of patches that makes FarCry MP superb!
We'll just have to wait and see what Ubisoft has for us.

I stand by my belief that FarCry is quite gay ( let the hate replies pore down!!)
