What do you think about text-based games?

i have recently created an online game.

and was thinking of setting up a network of text-based games.

but would like to get your views on text-based games and any ideas you would have on a text based game.

my friend is currently creating a text-based version of age of kings which looks promosing.

im also thinking of developing a mpog network.

I f**king hate text games. If I wanted to play them, ummm......I wouldn't.

well perhaps you could say why you hated them, and is there anything in one that you would like to see to make it more fun to play?

a suggestion would be to post a few screenshots so that people can see the interface before signing up

Yeah a few screenshots would be nice. I don't mind text based games, its a bit of a break from 3d games, plus they can be quite fun and humourous sometimes!

Its all about the dialogue with txt based gaming.

If you're upto creating some quality/humourous dialogue then I'll be one to check it out.

Anyone know Suikogaiden?
