doom 3 GOLD

YES, it's finally coming, not that I prefer doom3 over any other game that it's out yet, since that is the most general discussion ;)

Anyway, untill a few days back, doom3 multiplayer has been up to 4-players,
but Carmack already stated this should probably change through patching.

Quakecon (17 august) already has matches prepared for doom3 with more then 4-players per match,


So everybody, just wait those two little weeks after the demo, and judge after you play! :thumbup:

People saying that youre not gonna buy Doom3 is talking out there ass! You know you will, so why bullshit? It is one of the games that we have all been waiting for, for a very long time and i cant wait to get my copy!! B)

Its gunna be hard work waiting the extra 10 days or so before it hits the UK thats for sure!

I don't usually wait for the domastic release...If i think the game is gonna roch, and I think DOOM3 will be fun house deluxe, I just get it where it comes out first. :dennis: :thumbup:

let me know how that goes... i think this is going to the only 50+ dollar game that ill pay for in full, usually i wait for discounts and stuff...but this time- im paying in full + tax! as for half life 2, im gonna wait till its down to 30 dollars.....

I read a benchmark test on Doom 3 that was running on a Nvidia 5900 and it was getting pretty solid frame rates and medium detail; plus the guy at the 6800 launch said that it would "cut trough Doom 3 with everything on", so the x800 should do it no sweat. I'm guessing that even a 5900xt would be enough. As for people saying the game was shit in the Alpha, well, what can I say: it was Alpha, but the atmosphere the game generated was better than any horror movie that massive budget films are putting out these days. It's worth the money just for that alone!
