But then its the playability of those games that makes them (Should make them) desirable to all gamers; adults included.

Regardless of adult themes etc, are you really gonna play a hardcore, in-depth game on a handheld console? isn't that what pc's and home consoles are for?

The screen does look nice on the PSP, hope battery life and image quality really take advantage of it. Anyone know what screens they use in the DS? or its expected battery life?

The battery power has to last at least 3 hours really as there would be no point in playing it if it lasted any shorter. It'll probably be more like the old Gameboy batteries, between 6-12 hours. But hopefully more!

Im thinking 6-12 is a bit hopefull really. I mean if your gunna watch movies on it and play decent 3D games then it aint gunna last that long mate.

Ok its a very different but I get only 2 hours 45 max out of my Vaio when watching a DVD, then again it did come from e-bay and I don't know the abuse the battery went through before hand.

What are the official prices? are there any yet?

DS is almost definitely gonna be around the 150-200 dollar price mark.
PSP is almost definitely gonna be well over that.
No official announcements as of yet though.

I probably wont get either. Handhelds never really interested me. I have a gameboy advanced and i may play it 2 hours for an entire year.

But more seriously, how can you say a ps2 is shit? Admittedly its not as powerful as an Xbox but its still a good console with some good games on it. Or maybe the console was too advanced for you? You might prefer a Barcode Battler! lol

you can say the ps2 is shit becouse the nintendo 64 is more powerfull than it and any way my game cube has fell from my loft hatch to the floor and is still working fine and my playstation fall of my bottem shelf and now oly plays ps1 games so f*ck off you tit :rant:

PSP woud easily own DS, and PSP would have better games

but the ds will let you play games in new ways, not just let you play more "normal" games on a handheld
