well, the reason the sounds and music are gonna be so great is that they have the lead singer of NIN working full time at ID now in the sound editing dept...mr. Trent Reznor...so expect quite a sounds and music to be quite amazing..

I hope there's no rock music in game. That would kill the atmosphere dead! Something like Doom on the PS would be perfect style of music: baby's crying and all that sort of stuff.

Well, it is a bit creepy. Did you ever play Doom on the PS? The music in it was eerie and suited the game. Would it not freak you out if you were in some old house and you heard a faint noise of a baby crying in some dark, but empty, room? No?

Does anyone know how manny hours of gameplay there will be in the game

actually, i did a little more research, and apparently, Trent Reznor quit the project early (kinda sux) and Chris Vrenna kinda took over - the theme song we've been listening too is his creation, im sure you know by now that you can listen to the whole song here http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseactio...=20040718162555

did you guys get the new pcgamer yet in the mail? they reviewed doom 3 with around a 6 page article..so many details have been released- but all is good- the game they say is the best of the year- and they arent joking...
