Picked up Driver 3 yesterday!

Any of you guys playing it at the moment?

Picked it up yesterday and got stuck into the campaign; Survival mode is pretty rad for a quick blast.

I played it on the XBOX and thougt if this game comes to PC it's gonna kick ass...unless it's technicly the same as the consol version

Apparently it is coming to PC aswell, I've been messing with the Director stuff a bit hopefully they'll expand on that loads in the PC version.

And you gotta love being able to crank the res up too!

Is the Xbox version very different to PS2?

XBOX looks brighter...more colourful than PS2...well basicly the same in the end...both have PopUpsGalor :dennis:

The pop up aint too bad, I think I'm getting used to that kinda thing as the consoles get older.

As games get more advanced it gets harder to squeeze it all into the hardware and some of these cities are pretty large. I don't know how they manage it sometimes; I mean imagine trying to run Doom 3 on a 5 year old PC!?! lol my wallet is getting such a hammering at the moment!

Playability-wise its a good game. I must admit tho, I do tend to go around in Take A Ride mode more than trying to complete the missions. I've caught some funny moments in Director as well! Randomly seeing cars fly across the screen, police cars spawning right in front of me, but its still fun.

I agree with KamisoriX that the Xbox version is much nicer than on the PS2. Plus, you can share your Director moments over Xbox live!

The on foot parts of missions suck ass, IMO. Doesn't play well for me. The driving is top notch though.

Driv3r absolutely SUCKS! i really don't get how anyone can release a game so unfinished. It's a perfect example of how much rushed games fail.

It's a shame, cause with some more dev time it really could have ended up being a gta killer.
