Official Silent Hill 2 Thread

I've just started playing the stunning game "Silent Hill 2"
It really r0x0rs mah b0x0rs
If u haven't heard anything of it yet, I will tell u what it's like. It's like this really kool Resident Evil Clone, only unlike Res Evil there are no prerendered backgrounds used whatsoever, but still it looks much and much better then the last Resident Evil-game I saw.
Owyeah, replace the zombies from RE with other weird monsters to, to have it more look like Silent Hill 2. Another thing that's different from Resident Evil is that are FMV's (Full Motion Video's, Snoopius ) being used throughout the game to immerse u more in the story and sometimes show the dialogues between main characters, the FMV's have not being put in so much that it becomes annoying but just a bit to little that u keep urging for the new movie, since they are so very kool and very much tastefull. There are also cutscenes in Silent Hill 2 which are being rendered with the game-engine and these scenes look astonishing to, because of different camera-angles that give it a great atmosphere which is also due to the dialogues in these cut-scenes.
PLaying the game is a real blast, It's really great to cut these frigging monsters in half with a chainsaw or to find for instance a handgun somewhere in some room.
The soundd is really creepy and sometimes really makes you freak out

To make a long story short, this game has it all: lovable gameplay, truely great graphics, an immersive stroryline, great voice-acting, perfect sound and did I mention the eye-popping gfx?

Now since this is an adventure game (much like Resident Evil, as said before) you are bound to get a bit stuk somewhere in the game, just like I am now.....
I need to put three coins in a cupboard, but I only have two of them and need to find the third, I would really appreciate it if someone could please help me and ofcourse this thread may also be used to ask questions about your problems in the game.

I would love to hear your opinions on this masterpiece and If u do or not agree with my views of this great game.

And since I'm making this post anyway, I just realised I didn't even mention the flabbergasting shadow-effects which get really close to "dynamic lighting" shadows, the shadows are calculated in real time which creates great and more important very creepy effects

Heh, I hate to interrupt Carnage here, but have you seen the lighting effects in Splinter Cell? They literally made my jaw drop.

FYI that's a PS2 review, so it shouldn't be applied to the PC version....

That review came up when I used the search engine on YOUR stupid site...!
And the only time when it is mentioned that it concerns the PS2(which I hate btw)review is at the very end
