just look at those hl2 shots none can say that games sucks and they have no reason to considering the ammount of time spent on it! I think it will own anything out now and anything in the forseeable future! B)

Hl2 will own Doom 3 bigtime!! The first Hl was the best game ever and still is one of the better games. I mean the gameplay is great!! Hopefully HL2 will be as good!!

those screens maybe new, but u can see there scenes from former movies. so new pics with old content. bad strategy valve!

Actually i still don't see what's so great about it in the screens. They look dull. All flat textures.

Also the PC version is no better then the PS version. besides the mods, but mods are HL's luck, not its skill

Sadly HL2 also lacks any truly unique style from theses screens, doom had horror, had scaryness, had shadows and a uniquly scary, fun, and great concept, what does HL2 have? a few screens?

PS2 HL looks better than PC HL...but both wasn't that much fun...maybe there was to much hype about it...same happens now.
