Hey all I need a bit of help here and I hope I have come to the right place...My husband and I are looking for a new game.We loved Diablo II until recently when Blizzard chose to reduce drops and increase monster strength.. We have tried Sacred and yes it is great BUT if God forbid u are at the top of the map and should happen to die u are returned to the start and u have to cross the whole map to continue.. We are looking for something online that we can play together alone not in with alot of other people. U know along the lines of DII where u can go in a room and battle together against all the monsters... If anyone has any ideas we would be grateful

Dungeon Siege and Neverwinter Nights would probably be fitting.

I agree Dungeon Siege was great. Maybe, Warcraft 3. Its got that Blizzard quality. I really still enjoy Sacrifice, an older game but was advanced, technicaly, for its time. The multiplayer is great with or without opposing AI or a mix. Over the years Ive collected about 70 maps for 1-6 players and never tire of it. Now my 9 y/o plays. Its a Shiny game, you could probably still find the demo with google.... :thumbup:
No rooms, tho, its all out battle on islands in the sky, deserts, mountains, huge outdoor areas suspended in a cloudy sky. |

Or, you could dust off Diablo 2 and get mods for it. A VERY active community is out there, heck, I worked on a few mods.
They do everything from new monsters, thousands of new items, new skills, new character looks, everything. Maps included. Phrozen Keep That place links to all the mods and gives recent news on the modding community. I recommend Eastern Sun, Ancients: The Fury Within, or Valhalla. Installs are usually extremely simple: Download -> unzip -> copy+paste -> load game Diablo 2 is the Half Life of RPG's  |
