SF games vs Games set in today/close past

Do you like SF Games? Soon we can expect almost tons of futuristic games. I will mention some of them:

Deus Ex 2 - almost briliant game, with excelent scenario and lot of spies

Devastation - Well, hacking, undercover operations and stuffs like that - what else do you need for great game?

Harbinger - In future, Earth goverment is in wrong hands and there is secret underground society. Sounds interesting to me.

Revolt -

VS

C&C Generals - You know everything what you need to know about this.

Vietcong - War in Vietman... we watch so many movies about it, but this is only chance to feel it.

Republic: The Revolution - I like soviets. And even more, I like soviets revolutions

so, what do you choose?

Hrm, every genre is good for itself... Certain fans of MOH:AA spit on Deus Ex lovers and vice versa... I'd go with futuristic stuff though
