y do they release the semo now?!? we could've done with it a month ago, i bet there wouldnt have been half as many warez downloads

I can't really see a demo stopping warez downloads, probably would just make people want it more. This demo is great news for people who are considering getting Doom3 but arent sure if they will like it. (All 3 of you)

LOL, i got it the day it came out sonny.
Well, the demo wasn't the intrestin part for me but the news about the patch and addon...unfortunitly not alot of news to that.

PS: as John Carmak already said it: people who downloads the game didn't had the attampt to buy it in the first place anyway.

I can name half a dozen Doom3 Fortress team members who downloaded because they wanted to get their hands on it, they say its iDs fault because a demo would have fixed their crazing, ungrateful bastards.
