Star Wars Battlefront

I was just wondering if anyone has any freaking clue as to what the system specs or at least a demo version for pc is going to be released for Battlefront. :starwars:

One and only thing I know is that a demo (PS2 or Xbox.. I think it's Xbox) comes with the special edition of the Star Wars Trilogy DVD set (september)... :/

Im not looking forward to battlefront, it looks like a BF42 mod, not a new game, Im not really into star wars at all(I kind the concept good for si-fi but laughable in general)

But I do have extreme interest in SW:Republic commando... it looks to be a mix of halo, metroid prime, Brother in Arms, MoHPA, and full spectrum warrior, with the SW twist and good old infantry command and easy squad command, God that game looks amazing, and the graphics? wow.. they look better then ANYTHING I have seen, not even stalker or hl2 or d3 or farcry or mohpa can match what those videos show, amazing game.

Dude Sepht, Battlefront is based off of Battlefield. LucasArts used Dice's engine to create it. Therefore it will be exactly like Battlefield only with improved graphics and obviously the Star Wars atmosphere which is ok because Battlefield rocked, although I like the mod Desert Combat better.

Err, wait I typed too fast. I know that LucasArts had to get permission for something from Dice and I know that the game is based off of the gameplay and style of Battlefield (read it in PC Gamer) but I'm not sure if they're using Dice's engine. We'll soon find out!

Doesn't really matter, it looks to be very similar, PCGamer said it looks like Battlefield:star wars, which isn't bad, But I think a free mod(check galactic conquest) could be just as good.

It looks better then bf42, but i really don't want another bf42, maybe bf2, but not bf:sw, Im just saying, to me republic commando looks much more evolutionary/my style

am I the only one who thinks the SW mod looks better than the actual SW BF Game?

watch the battlefront videos, it looks to be mcuch better put together then the mod, but yeh, its not 50 bucks better, maybe 10 lol. If u don't have bf42 and u like sw you could go for either and be happy.
