Hi, I need help playing Doom 3 on my ATI 9700 Pro

I finally downloaded Doom 3 onto my computer. I have my graphics on practically the lowest settings but it still jitters

Please help!

By downloaded you mean installed right? I'll just assume that's what you meant. Go get the 4.8 Catalyst drivers at ATI.com, if you don't have them already.

What are the rest of your system specs?

Ya I know he said downloaded, but a lot of people I know who are kinda noobies use the word downloaded in place of installed. Just giving the benefit of the doubt.

how much crapware, in other words-spyware,malware, back ground tasks ect...do you have running and what r your rigs specs?

Okay, My friend said that I have all the right specs but I have to do something to the registry to make it play properly, Unfortuneately he's got a bit of a speech impediment so I couldnt quite understand his instructions. Sorry I didn't tell you that from the start. I don't really know my specs anyway lol

goto start-clickit....click run and type dxdaig.exe and type in all the stuff in the bottom box then go to display and type in all the stuff in the upper left box and please type it in a orderly fashion

Hi i'm kinda slow when it comes to computers, so you said go to start then to run and type in dxdaig.exe and then the stuff in the bottom box, I dont see a box.

Why don't you consult your software supplier, they sold it to you, so they can probably give you advice on how to run the game...
If you meet the systemspecs, Doom3 only requires directX9.0 and the latest drivers...

You say you already started doom3, but with gliches, so that means DX9 is installed(probably did that during setup)...

So all you need to do is download the latest drivers from ATI.com, and you should be all set...

BTW, since you're such a newbie, what is your serial number, I'll check it for validation;) B)
