Splinter Cell review

First off, I haven't played this game. Since my son bought it, I haven't been able to get near his XBox! I have watched him play it some, and I have to say that the review is on the nose.

Only thing I would add is that the review didn't play up the shadowing effects enough. You really have to see it in action to appreciate it.

They have broken new ground there. I was literally staring open-mouthed at some of the shadowing while watching him play.

I guess I could've writte more about that, because it really is incredible. I'm planning a series of 3d engine articles in the future, and splinter cell will be mentioned there..

With Gamershell it's:

SplinterCell > Vice city > Metroid Prime

When it SHOULD be:

Metroid Prime > Vice city > Splinter Cell

Not that I have played Splinter or Metroid yet but... I can sense it.

You can't really make that assumption without having played all three..
