Does anybody know the name of this game?!?

Hey, I'm having troubles with my friends trying to figure out what the name of this sweet old-school PC game was called.

I'll try to describe it the best I can...

It was like Scorched Earth, 2d and all, but instead each man was on a planet, and it was in space. You would take turns shooting each other on their respective planets. You could use the gravity on planets to "wrap around" them; this was a cool strategy to use.
The game is on the tip of our tongue but we can't figure it out!
Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I think it's Gravitar. Are you a person or a ship? Gravitar has a ship but, I know another game that has a guy. By the way were you on mame when you played?

The name of the game that you are looking for is "Scortched Earth" I used to play that to on my old PC too, sometimes even against my dad
