Server needs ONS players

I find myself addicted to ONS so I now have a 16 player server with custom maps here in NE USA called Charnel:
ut2004://64.185.230.8
I have 8 bots to balance teams and really need players.
Iâ€™m pushing NecrisPack2k4 and some maps are large downloads.
If you get a decent ping please join and let me know of any suggestions you may have

Make the maps+gamemodes votable(i haven't tried it yet)

AS, CTF, BR, ONS, TDM, and Invasion I highly recommend. also take off the damn necris pack... its too big for peopel to join you.

play around with bots and no bots. I sometimes prefer 2 on 2 person then 8 on 8 with mostly bots.

see if u can get this into gaming related.... im gonna go paly in it now

Thank you very much Sepht. I removed Necris Pack and just finished compressing my maps (almost 75% reduction) there is a dozen ppl there now so I my wait until the morning to delete redirect and upload compressed files.
There is map vote on there,
and I would suggest to anyone to bind another key besides X to map vote like Backspace.

Also when I join a DM server I want to play DMâ€¦

Bots is an idea Iâ€™ll try, only Iâ€™d love to play a lot of these maps with 16 players which is why Iâ€™m here now.

at least put AS on there come on ;) take off any map over 10 megs. If it takes over 1 min to download, ur losing people. and only if its a map WORTH 10 megs do u keep it.

I tried to get on recently but it was on this map called dreamus and moving at .1 pecent per second

so host it on maps that arn't huge as sepht said

Cowoboom Thanks for the heads-up this has nothing to do with map size.
I compressed maps and loaded to redirect this morning only did not check to see if it works, just went on to other chores.
Something isn't clicking with redirect so I have to work on this.
Maps are all much smaller biggest 2 are 15MB. Redirect should upload about 10,000X faster.

I'm thinking about adding a practice round so ppl with slow PC have time to join, I'm searching how to do this.

OK turns out there is something with Dreamus2 not loading right.
I forgot I also have one map at 20MB, so I loaded it and timed it.
Took me 55secs. to load screen and 22 sec. to load. + there is 45 sec wait for other players. This isn't so bad if you need to empty your bladder after playing a map LOL.
You can bring up mapvote (default X) and if 50% of ppl on server vote to change to same map it willchange to that map right in middle of game. Thinking about increesing %.

50 is fine.
Unless the map is crap(in which case it should be removed) most poeple will wanna play through the map rather then just vote it. Set it to 51%

Any map over 15 is a no-no
over 10 only if its great

Also I think TOT is having hop issue.
Triponthis clan is a great server that I like.

Oh Best time for me to not deal w/RL and play is 7:30 on.
