This is a response to a post in the help section concerning fifa2005:

Well, freak, I didnt notice any huge amount of controls but every control available was fine! They didnt miss anything and managed to put it into only a few buttons. Always been good controls with Fifa.
2nd you mention that you cant run with a man that doesnt have the ball. You were were complaining about to many functions and you didnt even notice that THIS FEATURE ACTUALLY IS AVAILABLE! try Q[b]!

Shadows over goal? That doesnt even make sense. The graphics are nice and animations well done as well. The demo is 110 mb. What the hell are you expecting? The full game? The resolution in this demo are 800x600 and 1024x768. This simply means you have a crap computer that cant run it at high details. Try editing the ini.
There is not commentary. Sounds are not that good either. This demo is mainly about gameplay.

I tried lots of games and I use hard tackle sometimes. In about 15 games ive got 3-4 yellow cards and the computer just as many. I never experienced the red card.
Corners unstoppable? The computer hasnt scored a goal against me with a corner kick.

It seems like they have updated everything in the game (maybe not sounds, we dont know yet (this is demo, remember)), graphics, gameplay.

The gameplay is nice. They have improved the most annoying detail from last year (first touch). Basically it was a good experience. :thumbup:

give me PES4! when is it due?? dammit the last years PES3 owns evry fifa game exept 98 the road to world cup, best fifa game ever made.
this one is just poor like evrything else since i played PES3

Look guys how can i change the resolution into 1204*768 of fifa 2005? i downloaded the demo its great the passes are better than the older ones.

Hey, they game is really nice, but i've got a problem.
The thing is, the brightness is okay, but when im going to that loading screen before match, it turns darker.
The only thing that helps is windows button, after pressing it, i open fifa again and brightness turns to normal.
Any help?

EA sucking at making Sport games. Winning Eleven 8 is the best soccer game period. The only fifa that i liked was 98 and 2000 others were just a waste of money.

Hi guys. I'll neither praise nor take a sh*t on a new Fifa ;P. Well, I've got one problem with details. In demo everything was all rights... but in full ver some (technical?) problems have appeared. I'm talking for example about level of detail of pitch (no shadows etc), players (blurred), and so on. What is strange, details in game settings are (theoreticaly) set to max...

I just bought fifa 2005 yesterday. It's good but not as good as i expected to be!!... i had the weirdest problem though while trying to run it. Well i did mangae to run the game really smoothly, until after about 15-20mins my computer switched off on its own!

Once it switched off i couldnt turn the PC back on either, until i removed the AC powercord from the PC and and re-connected it. Tried re-installing it but the same thing kept happening

I've got a acer travelmate 290 1.5ghz, 512 DDR ram, ATI RADEON 9700 with 64mb ddr ram dedicated.... windows xp home edition.

Anyone have a idea as to wat the prob could be??...... this has never happened to me before, so im wondering what the hells going on, it only happens when i run fifa 2005... and the power management settings are set to ' never' (screensaver, standby etc)

Could it be the automatic updates for windows??... which are on my PC

hey i've got mine fifa2005 and it runs just fine on my ati 9600xt (64m), 1gig ram. it never crashes but i noticed some minor lagging-this game needs a high end machine (or maybe my settings r not that good). but where r the referees and linesmen? they r not on the pitch anymore but (the referee) subsequently appears on the cut scenes like when a foul is commited. i tried in the game settings to look for enabling referee n linesmen on the pitch option but i couldn't find 1. so can anyone please tell me what to do?
