Has somebody played Far Cry its the most high detailed game in the games history i cannot believe it i bought it yesterday the man said that this game needs a superb pc to play on it but my pc i put the detailes into medium its good but the first level i think its the dummest level or the textures are not installed fully.

A. check ur drivers, some ATis had this issue, fixed in cat 4.9 B. Doom3's graphics are better then FarCrys(opinionated? slightly, but when all the professionals say its better... its better)

Doom III does look better, but compare the scale of the environments in doom III to those in far cry...

I don't really like the cryengine. I have to admit the FarCry environments are quite innovative, and I wish DOOM 3 had more outside and bigger areas in like FarCry, FarCry doesn't like running on my PC for some reason, 512mb RAM doesn't seem to cut it for FC.

it did for me, and as RAM is the matter, 512mb is the average quantity for all my friends

It ran pretty bad on my PC:
Radeon 9800 Pro 12mb AMD Barton 2800 @ 2.3ghz 512mb RAM Asus A7N8X E-D could it have been the drivers I used? When I put everything at high quality, the game would lag in some areas (loading up new textures I guess), and my fps wasn't exactly impressive either. I get way better fps in D3 and CS:Source. |

so the reason you dont like the cry engine is actually cos it ran bad on your p.c, well stick it on a gig of ram an x800pro and you'll agree with me far cry has much more to it than doom 3 which is why overall i would say it is the better game

FarCry graphics are to sterile for me...everyone is shining like they are competing for Mr. Universe de Game. Even the dead looks cleaner and fresh then most real people alive
 :P

You ppl saying that doom 3 is better than FarCry, oh no u dont u if u had played FarCry seeee the graphics of the amazing game and than come and talk to me if u seen the system requirements u seeee that it needs 1gig of ram this means this game has a superb graphics and u can compare it with doom3 and it says in the readme u need 4gig of hard drive this means this game is made up of amazing graphics and in the video options u seee in the water graphics there is ultrahigh this means the water is a real water and no one i say no one can create a water like that so conclusion u can compare FarCry with doom 3.
