I'm extremely surprised and happy how smooth the game ran on my system.. the game itself is also very funny and has such a unique way of introducing how Hell takes over the base..

Although the game scared the crap out of that one guy in the video, I never jumped once. Heck I jumped more in CounterStrike.

Still a neat game.. might pick it up once I spend all my funds and get some more.

Its a great game, I have it, and I'm still playing with it (and with the tweaking engine stuff) plus there are so many maps and mods :thumbup:

And yea ... when I saw that movie I thought it is indeed scary sh!t , and when I played the game ... :Oo: ... that dude in the video is such a pussy ! I mean, never I got jumped out of my chair screaming "I want mammy!" during this game ...and it makes it even more funny when I remember that in the video he only got on Alpha labs ( LOL )
After a couple of levels you get used to the "scary" part of the game and just kick some monsters ass :devil:

The guns also seem like the sounds make them sound like pellet guns.. there was a zombie shooting me with a shotgun and I though it was a pistol.. thats just bad.

The voices and whispering and that flaming skull are just awesome though. The part where you watch Hell take over on the monitors .. woot!

Edit: One odd and stupid thing I noticed. well.. two things.. 2 shots and a body gibs? I went around once I got the flashlight and bashed anyone that said a word to me (first time through too!) and they gibbed.. I laughed my butt off on that. "Hey, don't you have a mission ?" *no...* ...*GIB*

And the other thing is, since I bashed all these people, when I went to return to Command, there were zombies that were typically the person I had gibbed there.. so it never picked that up..

I thought the game was pretty scary, but not that bad. Made me jump once or twice, .... or five times, but still nothing too intense. Funny thing is though, I let a friend play through the beginning the other day and he acted exactly like the kid from that movie. Almost as fun watching him play as actually playing it.

Yeah, that was pretty stupid... I actually thought the gibbing was pretty cool when it was a demon, because it looked awesome and kinda made sense to me, but when a regular human's body burns away instantly it is kinda strange...

turn up the volume lets see if you dont jump at leat once or twice or get some good headphones

some of my friends play this game with no sound WTF? they told me...nah this game is not scary(i mean not as scary that you will sh*t your pants right) but after they crank up the sound system oh man LOL they jumped oh yeah they did i was laughing at them

Is it just me, or was pistol in the alpha release over a year ago just way cooler than the one that made it into the final release. I'm basically talking about the sound it makes as well as the more powerful feel it had, and also the flaming/muzzle flash it had was awesome. This pistol feels like a pea shooter.

not just u. a lot of people. get the trent razor sound pack in order to get that sound from the alpha.
