hi guys,

i know this looks very lame but. Honestly, I don't know what "Gold" means. I mean it says "Half-Life 2 gone Gold". What exactly does this mean? Means it's a perfect game or what?

meaning that the game is done(more or less) and ready to go to the press where it will be mass dublicated. in short: when you hear something gone gold means that it will be out soon. But HL2 is far from being gold....

Gold is when the developers have completely finished making the game, and it needs no more work on it. All that needs to be done is for the game cd's to be duplicated and sent to stores.
